What is a storm shed?
A little wind and rain is no big deal for most sheds, but cyclones and other extreme weather calls for something stronger. If you live in areas prone to serious storms and strong winds, your outdoor storage will need to be more robust than a standard shed design. Our all-weather sheds use a high-strength frame of 0.35mm sheeting and are Region D Terrain Category 2 rated, which means that they can withstand cyclone-level winds.
Best uses for storm sheds?
Whether you’re storing a mountain bike, gardening gear, or your favourite fishing rod, you want to be confident that everything is safe. When it comes to storm-prone areas, exposed sites or even just the peace of mind of extra protection, storm sheds are the perfect weather-resistant solution. Even if you’re not at risk of extreme weather, storm sheds are sturdy, durable options that will never let you down.
What are the storm shed sizes?
Storm sheds are built with a gabled roof that features a strong ridge beam, giving this style of shed a little extra height on the inside to move around. The smallest of our storm shed designs measures 2.25m x 1.50m x 1.97m while the largest model gives you plenty of storage and work space, with dimensions of 3.00m x 2.25m x 2.05m.
Cost of storm sheds?
For the protection and weather-resistance they provide, storm sheds are worth their weight in gold. Fortunately, the pricing is much more reasonable than their quality would suggest, starting at $1482 for the smallest zinc model, while the bigger version starts at $1767. Though more expensive than some other shed styles, it’s hard to put a price on the safety of your precious items in the face of tough Australian weather.
