Is your garden shed compatible with a Portal Frame Kit? Does it need one? Let’s find out!
If you’ve been eyeing a Workshop or Garage Shed, you’ll notice they’re built differently than smaller or medium-sized gable roof kits. The secret? A Portal Frame Kit.
What's a Portal Frame Kit?
Think of it as your shed’s core. They come standard in larger sheds like our Workshop and Garage models and provide these kits with more stability to support their size.
Can I Use a Portal Frame Kit for Any Shed?
Portal Frame Kits are available for those looking to upgrade their medium-size Gable Roof Shed kits. It’s compatible with the following width dimensions: 2.25m, 3.00m, and 3.75m.
That said, your Easyshed kit is already designed tough. Adding a Portal Frame Kit will take it a step further if you’re planning to line your Gable wall with shelving, store heavier items, or simply want the confidence of added reinforcement. It’s a sound, optional choice to future-proof your shed.
Install Anytime
The Portal Frame Kit is included as part of the design for Easyshed Workshops and Garages. It’s best to install it during assembly, so the frame and supports go up seamlessly with the rest of the shed. For medium-sized Gables, it’s an optional upgrade which means you can build now, or later.
Build Boldly
Your garden shed is more than just four walls and a roof. By adding a Portal Frame Kit, you take your gable shed from capable to unstoppable.
