Happy International Women’s Day, 2024

You can’t spell shed without she! Join us in celebrating International Women’s Day with stories from our raving fans.

From Us, to You, and the World Over

As the world celebrates International Women's Day, we at Easyshed want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible women who play a crucial role in our shed company.

From the very beginning, women have played a vital role in shaping our business and contributing to its success. Whether it's our in-house delivery logistics, our dedicated customer service team ensuring every case is handled with care, or our visionary leaders guiding us towards innovation and growth, women are at the forefront of every aspect of our operations.

But International Women's Day isn't just about recognising the women within our company; it's about honoring the countless women whose contributions have shaped our society and paved the way for progress. It's about celebrating their achievements, resilience, and spirit in the face of adversity.

Today, we want to shine a spotlight on Easyshed experiences we’ve received from our raving fans. Whether they're breaking barriers in traditionally male-dominated industries or simply putting together a shed or two; the impact women have on society is undeniable.

“I loved my first Easy shed so much I bought another one. I put it up by myself. I am a woman and I had no trouble, it was easy. Everything was supplied and after the concrete slab was poured I only needed an impact drill and and ordinary drill. Any slightly handy woman can do it no worries.”

Gail speaks fondly about her Easyshed, so much so that she bought another one.

Cheers, Gail!

Skillion shed beside a two storey home

“A woman CAN DO IT! Who needs a man? I had these panels together in 4hrs in 45 deg heat. Quick n EASY! This is the 3rd shed I’ve purchased.”

The blazing Australian heat is not enough to stop Gretchen from building her shed! Our DIY flatpack kits take roughly around 2-6 hours to put together, considering various factors like shed size, your DIY experience, the tools you have on-hand, and your time. Most people would think that you need a team of builders to put one together, but Gretchen sure proves that notion wrong.

She made easy work out of our 1.5 x 3 Skillion Roof shed solo.

You go, girl!

“My shed was very easy to construct and erect completely alone even though I am a small framed 69-year-old woman. It totally suits my purpose and the hooks allow for more usable floor space.”

Age is just a number might be a cliche, but it sure didn’t get in Judy’s way! Our customers range from anywhere between 25-70+. Our garden sheds aren’t just easy, they’re for everybody!

“Great! Helpful communication and sales service; better price than anything in my regional city (without the you're just a woman attitude). On time delivery; easy to follow instructions. Looks great! A year later it's proved its worth, very happy - thanks guys!”

Out with the attitude, we’ve got nothing but gratitude! We’re thankful for every customer contact, enquiry, and engagement that we get from our community. We put as much care into our daily interactions just as we do with every carefully packed flatpack kit that leaves our factory en route to Australian backyards all over the nation.

It comes as no surprise that Linda’s Easyshed still looks great a year later!

Speaking of years and sheds that last, have you read about our 40-year-old shed feature? Check out Tom’s 40-year old shed here.

For Her

Beyond acknowledging the strides women have made forwards, we also need to take careful note that there is still work to be done. It takes a conscious effort from us all to commit to creating a world where every woman has the opportunity to thrive, succeed, and fulfill her potential.

To all the incredible women out there—thank you for your strength, your courage, and your unshakeable determination.

Happy International Women's Day!
